"Mahila Samman Abiyan " campaign is governing by Sh. J.K Jain & Smt. Seema Jain, Managing Trustee, Fiem Foundation with Prime Minister's Cleanliness Vision to raise awareness among adolescent girls and women on issue of Menstrual Hygiene Management. 

Millions of women, especially Adolescent Girls across the country still face significant barriers to a comfortable and dignified experience with Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM). 

Status of MHM in India 

• More than 3/4th of menstruating women in India not using proper sanitary pads due to lack of awareness and non-availability of low-cost sanitary pads /napkin.
• Adolescent Girls are typically absent for 20% of the school year due to menstruation.
• Increase in incidence of Reproductive Tract Infections owing to poor menstrual hygiene.
• 70% of mothers consider menstruation 'dirty', perpetuating a culture of shame and ignorance.

Objectives: 

• Setting up automatic sanitary pad production unit with the help of public representative, local administration, engaging local NGO's and SHG, for free operation, Maintenance & Distribution of Sanitary Pads. 
• To create awareness among adolescent girls and women on issues of Menstrual Hygiene Management. (HMH).
• To provide quality in structure in the form of Vending Machines to promote Menstrual Hygiene Management in community place like School, Primary Health Center and especially in Vulnerable Sections.
